This problem affects the people in the town of Sihanoukville. It affects the people and families of the town that have a harder lifestyle due to the amount of pollution. The KSWM is the only a waste collector company for the city. Waste piled up due to the small number of waste collectors employed, the polluted water resulting in more water bottle use, the lack of recycling, and many other factors. There is lessened participation in recycling throughout members of the city which causes more trash buildup on the streets, the parks, and more.
