Implementation of ICM Program
The Goal:
The ICM (Integrated Coastal Management) program is intended to provide practical solutions to marine and coastal management issues seen throughout the region. They would address various issues such as pollution reduction and waste management among the citizens. One attempt was through a community-driven waste collection facility.

Issues with Solution Attempt:
This plan outlines principles that need to occur in the long term. This plan does not deal with current situations that need immediate attention throughout members of the community. There is a direct issue of the current disposal methods of plastic. Due to the current recycling methods and disposal systems there is lessened community participation. Citizens do not feel inclined to correctly dispose of their plastic bottles.
